VETERAN ORGANIZATIONS and RESOURCES
Come out and learn more about our Mission at Summit for Soldiers along with the Missions and Services offered through these other Awesome Organizations who will be in attendance.
Team Rubicon’s primary mission is providing disaster relief to those affected by natural disasters, be they domestic or international. By pairing the skills and experiences of military veterans with first responders, medical professionals, and technology solutions, Team Rubicon aims to provide the greatest service and impact possible.

For nearly twenty years, Military Veterans Resource Center (MVRC) has helped veterans regain the self-reliance, independence and self-confidence they felt as a service member. We recognize that the transition from military service to civilian life often is difficult. Our goal is to help veterans identify and overcome the barriers that are holding them back from the life they want. Our Mission is to help veterans develop self-reliance and independence by providing access to the resources they need to successfully manage their lives.

Survivor Outreach Services is a “one” Army program. Regardless of your loved one’s Army component, duty status, location, or manner of death, Survivor Outreach Services Support Coordinators and Financial Counselors are here to provide dedicated outreach and support when, and for as long as you desire.
Here in Columbus Ohio, the wonderful folks at SOS extend their services and support to ALL Veteran/Service-member families regardless of branch of service! |
Our mission is simple – To enrich the lives of veterans, military families, and dogs through the many benefits of the human-animal bond.
To fulfill this mission, VCAS focuses on placing rescue animals with veterans and/or military families where companion animal ownership will be beneficial. VCAS provides financial support that assists with general care costs, training, and veterinary expenses so that companion animal ownership is an option and not a burden. Our organization recognizes the many sacrifices made by American veterans and military families and hope that our efforts can now serve them. |
Team RWB’s mission is to enrich the lives of America’s veterans by connecting them to their community through physical and social activity.
People: Creating authentic connections (defined as genuine, quality, supportive relationships that generate mutual trust and accountability), reflected in an increased number of close relationships and improvements in teammates’ sense of belonging, purpose, and community engagement. Health: Creating frequent opportunities for team members to connect through fitness, sports, and recreation to improve physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing. Purpose: Engaging members in meaningful team and community-based experiences such as leadership and service that, beyond physical and social activities, renew self-identity and purpose in life. |
The Mission Continues empowers veterans who are adjusting to life at home to find purpose through community impact. We deploy veterans on new missions in their communities, so that their actions will inspire future generations to serve.
Our operations in cities nationwide deploy veteran volunteers alongside non-profit partners and community leaders to solve some of the most challenging issues facing our communities: improving community education resources, eliminating food deserts, mentoring at-risk youth and more. Through this unique model, veterans build new skills and networks that help them successfully reintegrate to life after the military while making long-term, sustainable transformations in communities and inspiring future generations to serve. |
The VETMotorsports program provides its participants with actual hands-on experience and immersion in a unique format, engaging injured warfighters over a sustained period of time and providing access to real-time activities and leadership roles in a high-stress motorsports environment. These events help empower veteran warriors, providing the same adrenalin rush and sense of vitality and teamwork felt in active duty. They engage, participate, and contribute in events that focus on ability and moving forward rather than disability and the past.

Mission of R.O.C. for Veterans Music Festival:
This is the signature event and fundraiser put on by Summit for Soldiers 501c3 Veterans Non-Profit Organization. ROC stands for "Resources" "Organizations" and "Community" and is intended to connect veterans and their families to some of the many Ohio resources that are available to them. It is also our way of saying "Thank You" to those who have served this country by providing them a free and exciting evening of entertainment. The idea behind ROC is that there are several resources and organizations that many veterans and their families may never have even heard of, so by inviting these organizations to come set up at our Summit for Soldiers "ROC for Veterans Music Festival". Summit for Soldiers is a peer-to-peer veterans organization on a mission of Suicide Prevention, that utilizes Outdoor Adventures and activities as a platform to build a network of camaraderie and support for veterans struggling with PTSD, TBI and Suicide. Our mission is to remove veterans from the "isolation" that often leads to some of the 8000 veterans suicides each year, and to show them that they are not alone in their struggles, but together we can walk the road together.
